It’s FINALLY Spring, and love is in season! It’s fun to shower the ones we love with gifts & special surprises, but spontaneously buying something great for your significant other can be costly.
Instead of opening your wallet this season, just open your heart. Leave a love note for your husband or wife in their work gear, or slip a quick “I love you” napkin into your children’s lunchboxes.
After I go to bed, my boyfriend likes to stick Post-It Notes on the computer screen or the bathroom mirror, so the next morning I wake up & find them, and it makes me smile (and sure makes starting my day easier). And if I happen to be swinging past where he works, I always try to leave a note under his windshield wiper from a “secret admirer.” It only takes a few seconds write, and can make all the difference in someone’s day; even if it’s scribbled in crayon on a piece of notebook paper, your words will touch their heart. We all enjoy being reminded that someone loves us, & speech is FREE! What’s not to LOVE about that?
